The legendary and inspirational Japanese rock band X Japan has recently signed a 3 year contract with Electrical and Music Industries Ltd (or EMI music). This cntract gives EMI exclusive rights for production and distribution in North America. The first release through EMI will be a single titled "Jade". it is scheduled to be released March 15. "Jade" will be X Japans first official release in the United States and the first single since "THE LAST SONG" (1998)

X Japan completed their first U.S. tour recently which included a Debut at the rock festival Lollapalooza.

Drummer, lyricist and leader Yoshiki has confirmed that they have plans for an album this coming summer, with a large percentage being NEW SONGS. In conjunction with the album they hope to tour before the end of 2011.

Yoshiki is also currently negotiating for releases in other countries particularly Europe and parts of Asia.

Yoshiki will also be getting a "regular" radio show called "Yoshiki Radio" on the U.S. based satellite radio service Sirius XM. The show is currently planned once a month for one hour, starting febuary.
